Summer. Sun. Flies.

This is how modern insect protection works

Flies are as much part of summer as the sun and a good mood. There are several ways to protect yourself from flies, mosquitoes, or gnats to ensure that this feeling of well-being remains the same and is not disturbed indoors.

Against parasites

Fruit and vinegar flies can be safely caught with a fruit fly trap. The scent of the natural attractant mixture lures them to the adhesive inside of the trap and holds them there reliably. Against gnats and mosquitoes, an electric vaporizer such as the long-lasting mosquito repellent is used, which is easy to use and noiseless. Fly baits contain an odorless attractant that lures and quickly eliminates flies. Applied to the window, they work for a whole season. Biocidal products such as fly baits, fruit fly traps and long-term mosquito repellents should generally be used with care and the product information should always be read before use.

Decorative at the window

Odorless fly traps are completely poison-free. They trap flies on their adhesive catching surface. Glue traps are suitable for all rooms and are effective for six months. Besides, the classic flytrap also belongs to the poison-free glue traps, which are still used worldwide, even if not directly at the window.

Alternative methods

Easy to install and just as much effective in repelling flies, are window and door fly screens, which can be cut to fit and even cleaned in the washing machine. The proven Wilhelm Busch method is still the fly swatter. djd
